Kurt Wolf

Praised for his attention to, and Modern interpretations of the time-honored Italian School of singing, Kurt is accomplished in helping professional and aspiring performing artists develop their voices and Performances for the Commercial music Industry and the Broadway stage.  A Master Technician and an expert in vocal Style, he provides functional contemporary training which bridges the gaps between modern pop and rock singing and the more traditional classical approaches to singing.

Kurt coaches Grammy nominated recording artists and Bands including Journey, Bush, and SOMBR.  He has worked with record labels WArner Records, Republic Records, Atlantic Records, Columbia Artists, Universal, Sony, EMI, Jive, Def Jam, Epic, Disney Records and Nickelodeon. Kurt's pop/rock/RB clients have toured internationally, received international radio airplay, and have ranked among the Top 20 Billboard charts.

Wolf Studios artists have also appeared at Every Major Music festival, on Saturday Night Live, and as Winners and Top 10 Finalists on The Voice, American Idol, and X-Factor.

Kurt Maintains His private studio in New York City (est.2000) and works regularly with performers across the United States, in L.A., South America, Europe, and Japan. He serves as a voice professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts where he specializes in contemporary commercial singing and has Taught at the University of michigan, Elon University, and the University of New Mexico.

Kurt taught and Directed Voice at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City for 10 years, during which time he served as music director and vocal supervisor.

Kurt is a headlining vocal coach for CESD Talent Agency. He teaches master workshops for university and conservatory programs across the country and for the Jikei Group Music Conservatories in Tokyo, Japan. He holds a Master's in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music.
